FES Watch U: Infinite Time

Installation to celebrate the launch of the FES Watch U – an innovative e-paper timepiece that can change the appearance of its face and strap at the touch of a button, with a collaboration between Sony Design, G.F Smith papers and graphic artist Supermundane. Combining distinctive design, pioneering print techniques and wearable technology, the installation is centred around a series of 1,440 one-of-a-kind posters (one for every minute of a day) printed onto a range of G . F Smith papers, each of which represents a corresponding unique watch design, creating an exhibition that introduced the infinite possibilities of design, technology and time. The posters are then tied together with a visual in black ink to form a single canvas in the space. This project was developed with Silas Amos and printers F.E Burman, and was featured by Dezeen as part of their London Design Festival 2018 coverage.
